2011 IEEE INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE on ELECTRO/INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

General Conference Chair Welcome Message

Dear Conference Attendees,

I extend my most sincere welcome to all attendees of this year's 2011 International Electro/Information Technology Conference hosted at Minnesota State University, Mankato, USA.

As in the past, this conference has included a diversity of topics presented by authors from many different institutions. This brings a plurality of interests and perspectives to a single location. I hope you take advantage of this opportunity and contribute, through presentations, discussion and interaction, to the development of new ideas and new directions in research and applied technology. In addition to the many technical sessions, the conference organizing committee has coordinated a technical workshop in embedded systems as well as non-technical workshops related to professional development, technical project management, and independent contracting. In addition, there are tours during the second day of the conference to allow you to visit some examples of technology application in action. Please take advantage of this opportunity.

I hope you find the conference, including the keynote speakers, the technical sessions and other program events educational and interesting. My thanks go out to the paper reviewers and the keynote speakers who have helped to make this year's conference a success. I'd like to extend a special thanks to the industry sponsors, IEEE, the Minnesota State University, Mankato staff and other organizing committee members who have taken time out of their busy schedules to help organize this year's conference.
